At FEMSA Foundation we have a vision of integral development for Latin American communities. Therefore, we focus on environmental sustainability, specifically water and quality of life, with special care and respect towards the environment and human beings.
The challenges are great; nonetheless, we are aware that so are the opportunities to work together for a better future. The synergies among diverse actors and the incorporation of creative thinking along with innovative technology will help us offer our region the solutions needed.
The projects we seek to collaborate in are focused on the sustainable use of water resources, quality of life focused on nutrition and education, science and technology. The characteristics of these projects must be sustainable, replicable and scalable so that our initial investment could generate other productive institutions and projects.
We consider that strategic alliances and knowledge based on research and investigation are the best way to provide the adequate solutions, which must be shared universally. We are proud to begin this journey with a project that represents these characteristics, the Water Center for Latin America and the Caribbean, launched together with the Inter-American Development Bank and Tecnologico de Monterrey on November 2008.
Your participation is very important since we understand that only by working together we can face the challenges before us. I invite you to visit our webpage as the first step to begin a dialogue and commit ourselves to the construction for a better future.
