- FEMSA has 33 water treatment plants, 20 of which are in Mexico.
- In 2006 Coca-Cola FEMSA's Mexico operations saved an equivalent to the monthly average consumption of 75,000 people.
- 10.6 million m3 of water saved over the last five years, the equivalent to the annual supply for 38,000 households.
- Coca-Cola FEMSA, The Coca-Cola Company and ALPLA, invested US$20 million in the construction of the first IMER food-grade, bottle-for-bottle, PET recycling plant in Latin America.
